Congratulations to Kuala Lumpur Teams for their great performance in the 45th edition of Malaysia Table Tennis Championships 2008 held in Kuala Terengganu from 19 - 23 December 2008.

The First Federal Territory Games 2007

The SWIP (Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan) logo colors of red, blue & yellow symbolized Federal Territory flag’s colors which consisted of Labuan FT, Putrajaya FT & Kuala Lumpur FT.



Kuala Lumpur Table Tennis Association successfully organized the 2007 SWIP for table tennis sport from 7-8 June 2007 at Kompleks Sukan Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur, Brickfields. The participants from WP Putrajaya and WP Kuala Lumpur took part in the men & women teams, singles and doubles events.
KLTTA were represented by Team Manager:Mr. Teoh Hock Poh; Coaches: Mr. Low Shu Tee & Mr. Ting Ing Hock; Men Players were Goh Nai Ngee, Cheong Tong Leong, Ng William, NIcholas Koh, Hiew Weng Keat, Goh Jian Huai, Chan Yik Foong, Nigel Koh, Lai Kean Tat, Foh Zhen Liu, Chen Kin Kit, Goh Boon Aik; Women Players were Foh Mei Teng, Low Pei Yen, Sia Shen Leng, Yap Pei Ching, Tan Lay Teng, Tan Lay Kon, Ang Shaw Bing, Cheong Jia Hwei, Low Poi Goon, Low Poi Luan, Goh Kah Sian, Michelle Lim.

At the closing ceremony on 2^nd July 2007 at Ballroom Sime Darby Convention Centre, Goh Nai Ngee received the best table tennis men player award while Low Pei Yen received the best women player award from Y.B. Dato’ Zulhasnan Rafique, Wilayah Persekutuan Minister.

Organizing Committee Chairman, Mr. Chen Fook Yen presenting a gift of thanks on behalf of the SWIP Organizing Committee to KLTTA President, Dato’ Low Keng Kok for presenting medals to all winners of SWIP 2007.

2nd National Women's Games 2007

Table Tennis Events of Sukan Wanita II were held from 01-05 June 2007 at UPM, Serdang, Selangor. The officials and players representing MSKL were Ms. Low Min Lai (Team Manager), Ms. Chong Choi Thing (Coach) ; Players were Lim Chin Tyng, Low Pei Yen, Fong Siew Kuin, Lau Yan Leng, Tan Lay Teng & Lim Ching Fui.

Kuala Lumpur paddlers crowned champions

SERDANG: Kuala Lumpur emerged champions after beating Kedah 3-0 in the final of the table tennis team event of the second National Women's Games at Universiti Putra Malaysia here yesterday.

Kuala Lumpur, who fielded Lim Chin Tyng, Low Pei Yen and Fong Siew Kuin-Lim Chin Tyng, defeated the Kedah pairs of Guy Lee Chin, Ong Bee Choo and Taw Xue Qiong-Guy Lee Chin in the doubles to seal the tie.

Earlier, in the semi-finals, Kuala Lumpur edged Melaka 3-2 while Kedah downed Sarawak 3-1. Melaka and Sarawak shared third placing.

Twenty teams nationwide took part in the tournament. – Bernama

KLTTA Honoring Players With Cash Rewards

KLTTA players who excelled in 2007 national championships were rewarded cash during KLTTA annual dinner on 27 January 2008 at PGRM Overseas Restaurant.

About sixty association council members, coaches and players attended the annual dinner.

“I am convinced that our players can improve further if all those involved continue to work harder,” KLTTA President, Dato’ Low Keng Kok said in his speech.

The incentive recipients were:

Boys’ Under 10: Ng Kean Ping, Hong Wai Leong, Lim Jun Yi, Kenneth Ten Jia Jun.
